India 101

I love Indian food. There is something about it which just hits home. No, I am not from India, nor have I been, but something about the food resonates with me. The spices, the sauces, the numerous amount of options. It all leads me to a paradise of flavor.

This is a new place to me. But I cannot pass up an Indian food buffet. Needless to say, I ate way too much, because it was excellent. Being a buffet, I know sometimes people will over look a restaurant like this but one needs to stop and check it out. There is a plethora of dishes. Three different types of biryani, multiple curries, butter chicken, tika masala, and so much more!

Honestly, I don’t remember all the dishes I tried but I loved them all. Surprisingly, I think I enjoyed some of the veggie options more so than anything else! The biryani is good, but you could tell it is made for a buffet - the one drawback being that things need to be out quickly. Does not allow for everything that goes into an amazing individual dish, but this was pretty darn close. And for a buffet, that’s a win! I learned their paneer is fantastic. There are things I have never had before as well which are delicious. The mango lassi is also as good as any I have had before.

I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food is here. The staff was courteous, always kept tables clean, and water filled. A hidden gem for an enormous amount of delicious food. I will be back again!
