District 9!

District 9 is a small, hole in the wall pub. Located in the middle of a small shopping center at Northcliff and Buckner in Dallas. They have a good number of taps but also some amazing food. Their menu is small but mighty! They make the brats and sauerkraut in house which are a must have. The atmosphere is one of a neighborhood pub where everybody might know your name. Their beer selection is extensive and they have one for all tastes. They even have some wine on tap as well.

I got their spicy chicken brat which comes on a nice pretzel bun along side some kettle chips. I wanted to try their meat and cheese board as well but it would have been way too much food for me. It did look amazing when I saw it come out from the back to another group of patrons. The staff is friendly and kind. They do not hesitate to answer any question one might have.

Overall this was a great place. One that could be a regular watering hole for most. With friendly staff and great food, along with numerous drinks, it’s a winner. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu and to explore more of their beer selection.
