Sushi Dojo

It has been a few since I wrote. I hope everybody had a great holiday along with amazing food and company! If you haven’t heard of Sushi Dojo, well you have now. This is an absolutely amazing little place. It has your traditional sushi and then an off-menu item which is all the rave - the sushi burger! We will get to that.

I will say, the inside has very limited seating but the patio is great! My first time going I had to try the sushi. I ordered their One Inch Punch. It was suggested because it has a little heat. The sriracha mayo and fresh jalapeños make it along with the spicy tuna. It was a delicious roll. One that could rival the best of any where else. Now to the sushi burger. It is unlike anything you have had before. It sounds odd, but it works! They utilize fried rice cakes in place of buns. In between they have crab salad and seaweed salad. The blend is fantastic. Crunchiness from the rice cakes, creaminess from the crab salad and a little tanginess from the seaweed salad. Yum! I cannot describe how excellent it was. It is unique and everybody needs to try it. I know I’ll be back for more. Oh, and to try their sushi tacos!
